Leadership
Reverend Faith Green Timmons brings to Holly her passion for sharing the gospel, teaching the word of God and helping others develop and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. Her ministerial background includes pastoring, Christian education, missions and Christian broadcasting. Rev. Timmons has served churches in Metropolitan Detroit, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. For years she also worked with Youth for Christ and was a campus leader for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship.
It was in the United Methodist Church, while serving with an experienced ministry mentor, that she learned the significance of striving for excellence in honor of God and to glorify the kingdom. That is a lesson that she strives to apply to all areas of life. Before entering ordained ministry Rev. Timmons was an award-winning journalist. She worked for WJR, WWJ, WDIV, and several other media outlets. In 1997 she was honored by the Radio Television Digital News Association for her work at Family Life Radio. She was awarded a prestigious regional Edward R. Murrow Award for outstanding achievements in electronic journalism. In 1999 she won the Stoody-West Fellowship in religious journalism bestowed by United Methodist Communications.
Rev. Timmons holds a Master of Sacred Theology from Yale University and a Master of Divinity from Harvard University. She was named a Hopkins Shareholder, one of the nation’s oldest endowed fellowships given to Divinity School students who show ministerial promise in the Harvard community. In addition she holds a bachelor of arts in journalism from Wayne State University and an associate degree from William Tyndale Bible College.
Rev. Timmons and her husband Gregory have two beautiful children. They love the Lord, live to serve Him and seek to honor Him through their service to Calvary United Methodist Church and in their private lives.

Amber Price - Youth Director
Our Youth Director is the energetic, Amber Price! Her talents reach out to the youth in our community of Holly and surrrounding areas.
Amber believes in the strength of our youth doing God's work. Our Junior High and Senior High Youth Groups volunteer for monthly service projects for our church family and community under her direction. The youth in these groups stay active and are an asset to their communities.

Meet our church secretary, Mrs. Ginny Foss, who is at the "hub" of our busy church. She is the receiver of information that has to be organized, typed, recorded, copied, saved, filed and/or sent to the correct people, committees, organizations and anyone involved in the church's affairs.

Mr. Gary Carne is a dynomite music director at Calvary. He has the privilege of directing the growing Chancel Choir and Calvary Hand Bells Choir in uplifting spiritual music so sweet to the ears.
He brings modern media to his presentations making them exceptionally dynamic.
Gary has been our music director for over 20 years, and the best is yet to come!
